# Compiling OpenPBS for Rocky Linux 9.3

I’m currently exploring the possibility of compiling OpenPBS (OpenPBS v23.06.06 Release) for use with RockyLinux 9.3.

I’m looking for insights from anyone who has successfully compiled and used OpenPBS on Rocky Linux 9.3. Were there any special configurations or considerations that ensured a smooth integration?

Is it working properly, is production ready?
