Hi PBS community @adarsh @bhroam The PBS job scheduler stops immediate and and says job completed . This only happens when I use a particular node. All other nodes work fine. I removed the database but still the issue persists. I will be happy to get advice on what may be wrong. Thanks ---

Hi @vincent718 , Could you please share more details - pbsnodes -av - scheduler logs with verbose - server logs with verbose - sched\_config - qstat -Bf - qmgr -c ‘p s’ 1. Did you try deleting that node and re-adding that node? 2. Did you get a chance to re-install the pbs\_mom on that compute node ? 3. Is the pbs\_mom version and the server/scheduler version the same ? ---

AFAIK，if the homedir for the user is not exist, and you are running under sandbox=home, the job will fail immediately.
