Hi all,

I am new to pbs and I am looking to create a set of queues named small, medium, large based on wall time and max/min cpu and mem.

However, I also have a mix architecture. Is there a way to have a user submit to small, medium, and large queues that will not cross architectures/stay on a set of nodes of the same architecture?

Thanks

You can achieve the same using qlist ( node to queue mapping )

I created an resource Qlist (just as the Administrator Book says): create resource Qlist set resource Qlist type = string\_array set resource Qlist flag = h and node20, one of the nodes, is configured like this: (output of qmgr -c print node node20) create node node20 Mom=node20.localdomain set node node20 state = job-busy set node node20 resources\_available.arch = linux set…
