# Restrict the core for users

Hi Team,

Need your help to implement the mentioned below points.

Installed PBS version = 18.1.3-0

1. Restrict the core, per users can only use 128 cores not beyond that.

2. Wall time set like for 5 days only.

Hi  
For a queue, called for instance “bigq”:  
set queue bigq resources\_max.ncpus = 128  
set queue bigq resources\_max.walltime = 120:00:00
