Installation of torque in single node - ubuntu 14.04

A little background from a recent post… If you are migrating to PBS Professional, then you are in the right place. The error you are seeing is likely due to another instance of pbs_mom running on the same host. Another possibility is that the socket is in TIME_WAIT state. You will need to wait until the kernel releases the socket for reuse, which may take a few minutes. That said, it doesn’t sound like this is a PBS Pro issue.
