PBS install issue no route between server and client

Hi iam having a problem configuring PBS 19.1.3 for cent0s 7.2 which I installed from opens source download
pbsnodes -a from sever reports the nodes are down. from client it says no route to host.

the server is on 10.200.204.34 client nodes are on 10.200.206.XXX
can ping back and forth between nodes. the client have two networks IB and Ethernet.
the hostname for ib is HOSTNAME-ib for ethernet it is just HOSTNAME

what do I have to do to get this working?

Qstat: cannot connect to server amaster (errno=113)

Please check your DNS and /etc/hosts for the name resolution of “amaster” firewall settings ( 15001 to 15009 and 17001 should be open between server/computenodes) SELinux disabled and system rebooted check and share this command output pbs_hostn -v amaster /etc/hosts should be the same both on the server and compute nodes

Also check your netmask to ensure traffic can pass between subnets. Sounds like an underlying network issue.
