18.1 Release Plan

The team is finalizing the PBS Pro 18.1 release. This topic (thread) will capture information all about the release timing, locations, updates, etc… You can “Watch” this topic to keep up-to-date on plan and progress.

The target timeline for the 18.1 release is as follows:

  • Apr 13: final feature freeze for 18.1
  • Apr 16: 18.1 Beta phase begins
  • May 10: 18.1 GA released (assuming Beta goes well)

It will be great to get as much feedback as possible during Beta, so if you have a test cluster (or you just want to try it out on your laptop and provide feedback), that would be most welcome. If you find any issues, please file Jira tickets… or, better, yet, submit pull requests with fixes :-).

More information will follow in the coming days with release notes, how to download, etc. Stay tuned.

PBS Pro 18.1 Beta is now available at https://github.com/PBSPro/pbspro/releases/tag/v18.1.beta

PBS Pro 18.1 release branch has been created: https://github.com/PBSPro/pbspro/tree/release_18_1_branch

The team is working on final regression tests and fixing any critical bugs. You are most welcome to test this branch and file/fix any issues.

PBS Pro v18.1.2 is now available!

Installable packages for v18.1.2 are available for download via pbspro.org/downloads
