Can I disable the option vmem on OpenPBS?

Could you please let us know why ? and what is the purpose of this ?
Are you planning to disable the swap on the compute nodes ?

Hi!

That’s because I’m dealing with a job priority problem, some users are still using vmem instead of using mem. And I was planning to disable the vmem option only in PBS.

you could write a queuejob hook that will reject jobs requesting vmem in their qsub .
