PBS installation on a single execution host

  1. check with firewall / selinux disabled and system rebooted (if you disable selinux)
  2. DNS / hosts file is all good
  3. check pbs_mom service is up and running on the compute node ( ps -ef | grep pbs_ )
  4. check the mom logs
  5. check the server logs
  6. check ports 15001 to 15009 , 17001 are not blocked (between pbs server and pbs mom )
