There has been a change made to PP-231’s design proposal. This change affects how third scenario mentioned in the table on design page work with express option.
Previously it was mentioned that it would display jobs from the specified queues first and then display data related to other specified job IDs. During implementation it was noticed that there could be many such combinations (with local jobs, local queues, remote jobs, remote queues) that can make qstat’s code much more complex. In favor of simplicity, it is proposed to just throw an error when a mix of job ids with queues is noticed in the input.
